I have always enjoyed being outside in the fresh air, as a child playing in the local fields, family picnics, more often than not in the Peak District, visits to various National trust properties and gardens and family holidays again more often than not in Pembrokeshire. This love for being outside gave me an interest in natural history and a boyhood love of fishing meant that I was outside in all weathers and through all seasons, watching as things died and were reborn from winter to spring.
My interest in photography grew up from these experiences and I think this shows in the images that I take. I love landscape preferably rugged like the Peak district, Lake District and Scotland, awesome like south west Ireland Beautiful in a different way like Tuscany and completely different like Iceland, I like photographing birds, animals and insects, wild and cultivated flowers.
I like country side pursuits, Equestrian events and the odd bit of motor sport at the moment the two wheeled type, Road racing, motocross and trials, I think that is enough for now but I am sure I will be adding to the list.
